John Sampson
I am a BA Photography graduate of UCA Farnham, specialising in digital image making, post production and manipulation of images. In the day I work as a Photographer/Floorplanner/DEA for Fourwalls, taking on some of the most fantastic properties that my region has to offer. Previously working for Dawsons Auctioneers, photographing a wide range of exciting antiques and jewellery I have developed an eye for detail in both the minute and the massive.
My freelance work is primarily in the live music industry and I have photographed a range of musicians at various shows. My work centers around the passions and energies that exude from the artists, and this is reflected in my output. Navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, originating as my graduation project, I have taken on a more documentary style to my work, exploring the struggles and successes of music industry workers throughout a time when their main streams of livelihood had been stripped from them.
